Born in the mountains of North Carolina, I've always been at home in the rural
areas of the Carolinas. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Studio Fine Arts from
Mars Hill College. I worked in graphic design and commercial art in upstate SC
for almost 25 years before returning to my real love of Fine Arts. I follow traditional
disciplines with my oil painting. I have a representational style that hopefully
creates a kinship between artist and patron by touching on people, events, and
things that have a relationship that can be felt by many.
